So on the tip of his subduing tongue
All kinds of arguments and question deep,
All replication prompt, and reason strong,
For his advantage still did wake and sleep:
To make the weeper laugh, the laugher weep,
He had the dialect and different skill,
Catching all passions in his craft of will:

-------------------------------

The dust flies from the board with the Fall 1607 turn... Denmark makes what we'll call a brilliant strategic move, stretching behind the lines to both corners of the board and threatening both Spain and Russia. Meanwhile Spain makes a 180 degree turn in the Med and Russia makes a slight misorder... (Persia unfortunately does not border Armenia.)

There was one retreat required after the Fall, but since the Spanish fleet in the Ionian had only the Tyrrhenian to fall back to I took the liberty. (Jonathan, please let me know if OTB is preferred.) Its a quiet winter turn ahead as well, with Spain disbanding one and Denmark building one. Deadline for Winter 1607 will be set for Friday, September 12th (11:59 PM GMT).

[u:2fd90582d3]PLEASE NOTE!! PRELIMINARY ORDERS are HIGHLY encouraged.[/u:2fd90582d3] I will be strictly enforcing my HRs from here on in, and two of the remaining players no longer have their grace period.

Cheers everyone. Please let me know if you spot any errors.

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
