From those who have played, and particularly those who have demonstrated themselves expert map mapers...

The only map change that I'd considered as a result of this first play of the Haven map, is to connect Beaversdam to Orboros (thereby disconnecting The Silver City from Sunless Sea. It seemed to me after the initial play that the rogues were disadvantaged. They are the only power that could not ensure themselves a first turn build.

Dargard Keep is possible, but likely contested by Magenta or Red.

Dimmsdale or Gurgi is possible, but yellow can order Oz-Daisy Meadows in s01 to block Pink.

Any move by the Centaurs to Sunless Sea in s01 cripples Pink as the stab on TSC is too powerful.

As it stands, the Centaurs can force their way into Orboros with Tum-Grs and Grs-Sun, and Pink cannot counter that, save by help from Green.

Pink can hope for help from the Trolls... but why would they give it so early?

Overall I think shifting the border would give Pink the edge on getting Orb if he wants it, and force the Centaurs to go for an alternative like Telmar.

Would this switch DISadvantage the Centaurs as much as the Rogues are now? I believe not, as the Centaurs can almost certainly get one of Cathal, Archenland, or Telmar.

Thoughts welcome,
-mike
