Hello all, I am your temporary GM, just until Steve gets his Computer situation worked out.
So as I understand it, you have all received the spring results, and I now need the retreat orders from you all.
Please send those orders to me and the Game box by Thursday, (at) 9pm East Coast US Time. (for reference I am sending this message just past 10:30 AM)
Thank you all for your patience!
Jason
Here are the results again:
"For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill."
With three mobile neutrals (and one supporting), it appears that some are attempting to win without fighting.
Everyone captures exactly one neutral center this Spring, which leads to several dislodgements.
Let's get the Retreat orders for those neutrals in on Tuesday, October the 7th at 23:59 GMT. Retreat orders will be the same as regular ordering of Neutrals, except that if there is no consensus, the unit will disband. There will be no delay for this adjucation. Since there are no Chinese units that were dislodged, and only neutrals, any orders missing on Tuesday will be orders to disband the neutrals. If this is what you want, I will still appreciate you shooting me an email telling me that.
A couple of technical notes: I am using my wife's MAC, which I hate. Because of this, I don't have the file converters that I have on my computer (and it took enough to convince my wife to let me download Realpolitick), and I don't know how to convert the .pic to a .gif. If someone could do that, and email it back to me, that would help a lot. Also, the MAC version of Realpolitick won't let me copy the orders like the PC version does. How do I get around that, so I don't have to type the orders next time?
Thirdly, I think something is wrong with the Mandate RP file. On my PC and MAC, I can't open a saved version. It says something like invalid order or something. Does anyone know more about RP that can figure out what that is?
