PREV  Spring 1936 Adjudication:  NEXT

Hi guys,

I am particularly fond of the very first season in any Diplomacy game as danger and opportunity are held in balance. The future is wide-open! The first results may then prove a promising start or something of a reality-check. In either case, hopefully spurring players on to step up their game yet once more. After all, nobody's fate is decided in either direction at this very early juncture.

I'm afraid the earlier RP module contained a bug I now discovered. You'll find the corrected files attached - as well as the dpy file showing the present state of the game.

The Fall 1936 moves are due to me NLT 6PM CET on Monday, 26 April. So get me those prelims by Saturday, 24 April 6PM CET (GMT+1), at the latest.

It's been fun and enlightening to observe all the negotiations. I'm anxious to see what shall happen next.

Bonne chance!

Charles

Pic of the Day: Jeanette Kesser (UK) competing at the 1936 Winter Olympics

Quote of the Day: "Strong, healthy and flourishing nations increase in numbers. From a given moment they require a continual expansion of their frontiers, they require new territory for the accomodation of their surplus population. Since almost every part of the globe is inhabited, new territory must, as a rule, be obtained at the cost of its possessors, that is to say, by conquest, which thus becomes a law of necessity."
-General Friedrich von Bernhardi, 1912
