The Good News - We Have Started
The Bad News - France Has Decided to Bow Out of the Game
Elsewhere We Have Bounces in ENG and BLA
An Austria Goes Adventuring in Galicia

All,
This is a tough situation. France has decided to leave. I understand he has communicated that as well. This is unfortunate and causes a bit of an issue:

I had already accepted prelims from all so I had to decide whether or not orders stood prior to his notice. I decided that they do since his notice was after the deadline. Thus we have S01 results.
I typically do not go after replacements when a player leaves a game. However, this is after S01 which gives me pause. That could completely change the complexion of the game plus a new player doesn't lose much by being added at the end of S01. So, given those factors, I have chosen to look for a replacement. I hope to have that in a few days BUT that will slow down our next turn until I find a player. Fortunately we have a lot of players signed up for re001 and could possibly roll one of them into this game (if they are interested).
I apologize that I was late getting orders out. Apparently that is the cause of Paul's decision to leave the game and I hate that my real life delays caused this interruption.

As you can see, the results are below (as well as attached maps showing moves and results).

I will not yet set a deadline pending us gaining another player. More on that as an update by Wednesday.

Two other notes - 1) there is PRESS attached below - I appreciate someone submitting it and hope you find it entertaining; 2) the orders and results are also attached below if you like text vs. a map.

I hope to get us back underway shortly.

Garry
