PREV  Fall 1901 Adjudication:  NEXT

“There is a tide in the affairs of men
Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.”
- The Tragedy of Julius Caesar

It has been my observation that, due to their multinational borders, Rumania and Belgium often receive lots of love and fawning attention during Fall 1901. Such proves the case this year. Four units engage in Rumania. And the victory goes to Russia. *Five* units engage in Belgium (including the convoying fleet… one of a staggering three convoys this season), and the victory goes to… Tintin, who retains his independence whilst the English and German units bounce. Belgium (and waffles) for the Belgians!

Elsewhere, players gobble up unclaimed centers. There are no retreats. Thus, we come to the momentous Winter 1901 builds. Friend, what will you build? Will you build boldly to brazenly announce your intentions for 1902? Or will your builds ambiguous be? In hopes to lull your “allies” into trustfully exposing their backsides to you?

We shall learn soon enough! Winter 1901 orders are due Thursday at 10:00 a.m. CST (15:00 GMT). Your adjustments are as follows (Supp = supply centers; Unit = current number of units; Build = number of units you get to build):

Austria: Supp 5 Unit 3 Build 2
England: Supp 4 Unit 3 Build 1
France: Supp 5 Unit 3 Build 2
Germany: Supp 5 Unit 3 Build 2
Italy: Supp 4 Unit 3 Build 1
