PREV  Fall 1901 Adjudication:  NEXT

Hi Players,

Today's surprising headline reads: Much Ado About Nothing or What War? I Don't See no War.

To what do we owe such an unusual headline in these supposedly turbulent times? Merely the fact that over the course of the Fall campaign the dance of swords was performed without a single instance of actual conflict between any of the armored units! That's no dislodgements, no bounces, no contact of any kind.

Did you guys choreograph this, or what? When the music stopped, all 12 neutral SC had been claimed.

Additional notes:

* Austria and Italy raise eyebrows amongst interested observers to demonstrate the heretofore unknown Bulgarian Lepanto.
* There are four different colored armies in the Balkans. That's pretty, and pretty unusual.
* There is only one fleet in the water. Can you guess which one? Of course you can.

New Play Season announced in Rome
A new farce is to be presented in Roma this Christmas season, fun for many years and children of all ages:

Le Panto (or "Is it Really?")
thrill to the dastardly Turkish Grand Vizier Ben Ghazi and his mustachios
boo the devilish cossack dancing of Tzar Nathan the glutonous (see him eat whole provinces at a single sitting!)
cheer the austro-hungarian two-facing monarch Mike the apparently amiable (does he hold the secret lock, and who holds the Key?)
applaud the death-defying antics of Nigelo as he stretches to grasp two trapezes at once
listen to the soothing lullabies of Jacques the parisian balladeer and his guitar troop
fear the mighty german Hamlet: to bounce or not to bounce, that is the danish fleet's question
and admire the english mime artists led by Captain Birdseye and the strength with which they carry whole armies over the seas in search of schools of fish fingers

7 villains... no murders yet

RETREATS: None

ADJUSTMENTS: All players have units to build. See table below for numbers.

NEXT DEADLINE: Winter adjustments are due Friday, April 1, at 18:00 Eastern time. This is not a joke.

Cheers,
Chris
