PREV  Fall 1763 Adjudication:  NEXT

Friends,

What an interesting game we have already! Two of the fragile 2 SC powers, Denmark-Norway and the Ottoman Empire, have decided to eschew trying for a quick build to bolster their tenuous positions. Meanwhile, two of the mightiest powers on the map, Great Britain and Russia, lose a supply center to their antagonists and sit in seemingly troublesome strategic positions. On the other hand, Prussia is the only power to gain two or more SC's with just two and the total builds around the board are a mere 8 - unthinkably low in a 10 player game with ample neutrals after the first season!

I'm planning to keep our normal schedule, as no one has asked for a change owing to the holidays. I do think the adjudication days fall on sensible days relative to the New Year and Christmas holidays which will perhaps enable the game to progress unimpeded. However, if any of you have travel plans that would adversely impact your ability to play the game well, let me know ASAP so I can make adjustments.

Also, it appears that this will be about the earliest that I am able to get adjudications done given my current work and commute schedules. I will be sure to get adjudications out the same night as the order deadline but do not expect to receive it too immediately in the future.

There are no retreats. Builds are due on Thursdays; prelims for next spring on Friday.

Have fun!

Dirk
