PREV  Winter 1649 Adjudication:  NEXT

I'm afraid I've only now discovered an adjucation mistake.

Wlad submitted the F Abo build. Yet he did not specify which coast (east or west).

While I THINK I know what is meant, this does not pass my unambiguity test. So I am ruling the build order as invalid. Sweden therefore waives her second build.

Hi guys,

building navies seems to be all the rage, right now. I'd say it's quite rare for fleet builds to exceed the raising of armies. Only Austria and Russia are bucking the trend.

Talking of Russia, she's doubled in size this year. So now Spain, Sweden and Russia lead the board with six SCs each. Last game France and Sweden topped the board after the first year, only to then crash and burn. Will early success prove equally illusory in this contest?

Savoy lives to see another day. Her army is recreated. But how long will that one last?

Perhaps 1650 will provide some answers...

Happy dipping!

Charles
