PREV  Spring 1764 Adjudication:  NEXT

Friends,

How often is it that Poland-Saxony and Prussia appear poised to spearhead an overrun of Europe? Not very, but based on the apparent coordination between our two central powers, Austrian leadership of central Europe may be short-lived. Along with the moves of the scrappy Ottomans and perhaps even the Quixotic French, there is not a lot of good to reports from the land of red dots. In other activity, Sweden's fist gets ever-closer to Catherine the Great's enlightened head, Spain becomes the first power to appear to make a play for the Med, and Britain and Denmark engage in maneuvers that serve to benefit seemingly everyone else more than themselves.

There are only two retreats: Austrian A Swi (valid retreats to Milan or Venice) and Ottoman A Bosnia (valid retreats to Croatia, Dalmatia or Constantinople).

Happy to extend the summer or fall deadlines if anyone would like it. Otherwise, retreats due in 28 hours, prelims in 52 hours and fall 1764 will adjudicate in a bit over 6 days.

Happy hunting!

Dirk
