Friends,
There are typically a few dramatic, board-altering moments that define each game of Diplomacy. In fall of 1764, the two-fisted Prussian-Saxon advance turned into one giant Prussian wrecking ball. Frederick the Great and his death's head hussars lead the way to a crippling 3 center stab of their Saxon ally. The maximum three black builds will be enjoyed by our ascendant Prussian.
In more regional news Spain and Sweden continue their slow growth from their initial weaker positions. There are fireworks in Austria as Budapest and Vienna both fall - to the Saxons and Turks, respectively - while Austria takes Constantinople and Tuscany to avoid immediate irrelevance. The Danes rejoice as they finally grow while simultaneously landing on the shores of England. Meanwhile, Russia enjoys a - so far - rare military victory even as Moscow falls to the Swedes.
There is only one retreat: Prussian A Lithuania can retreat to Galicia, Koenigsberg, Livonia, Posnen, Wallachia or OTB. There are a total of 10 adjustments (builds/removals) which are listed below. They will not be impacted by the retreat.
The retreat and adjustments are all due tomorrow at our usual adjudication time. Feel free to send along conditional adjustments based on the retreat.
Good luck!
Dirk
