PREV  Fall 1902 Adjudication:  NEXT

*French Forces Repel Invaders!*
*Chaos Reigns in the Balkans, and the Winner is... Italy?*
*Last Neutral Falls to Russians*

Hey all,

Great to be back in the saddle! And what a turn to come back! Armies clash across the map, especially in the Balkans and France. Yet for all the blood and guts spilled for king and country, the board remains remarkably unchanged. Nao-Mao is a potential game changer, of course, and Tys-Lyo. But beyond those fairly predictable moves, the rest of the board shifts very little.

It's also about this time that I like to make my own mental predictions about the final winners. So I've got my countries in mind, but I'm not telling what they are until the game ends.

I feel I should also instruct some players on a key point. If you support a unit, and it moves, the support is invalid. Specifically I'm thinking of the two voided supports for Bulgaria this season. Just something to be aware of in the future.

And lastly, retreats and builds! Pretty simple, really. We need a Russian retreat. F Rum can retreat to Bla, Sev, or Off The Board. If it retreats to Bla or Sev, then the only build is Italy with +1. If it retreats OTB then I need a build from Russia as well.

Those are due tomorrow at 8:00 AM CST (though the adjudication may happen a bit later). If you aren't Italy or Russia, enjoy a nice relaxing break for a day.

John
