In other news: This year ended on a catastrophic note for Denmark: Scotland, Copenhagen and Lower Saxony have been lost. One of the chief beneficiaries is the Commonwealth. English fortunes were sagging of late, now something of a recovery has set in.
France has taken over much of Spain's Northern holdings. This has contributed to a terrific SC haul. The Sun King will be building four new units (if he wishes to, that is).
The Emperor has done almost as well. He managed to walk into both Cracow and Belgrade.
