Well, a lot of you had to scramble but you all made it happen! Seems everyone was busy this week! Might I remind all of you that prelims generally prevent NMRs from happening, and while your moves my not coordinated diplomatically, they certainly will serve you better than an NMR.

Also, there were two instances where the orders had been inexplicably lost, as proven by those people e-mailing me not just their orders, but my own confirmation thereof. I have no idea what happened to my filters........ Hmmmmmm.

As for the moves, a lot of moving chaos in the east and things in the west begin to open up (but with some odd moves in the mix). France Paris supports Brest to hold its position, but apparently Brest had other plans. Germany does something similar, as Munich lines its guns up to defend Burgandy, only to see their fellows march on Paris. We do know a unit has to HOLD for it to be eligible to receive support to hold, right? You can't bounce it AND support it to hold.

Each power in the west has one unit move. Por to Spa, Bel to Pic and Pic to Bre(!) As Bre is surrounded, the unit is destroyed.

Turkey gets swiftly invaded. The Turkish unit in Smy gets dislodged and, having no place to retreat, is destroyed.

No retreats necessary. Next deadline is 2/11/11 at 3:00 GMT. Be sure to get those orders in!

Also, a note on personalized NMR warnings. Those are a courtesy I do when I can. I will always send out a general 24 hour warning, but please do not depend on my NMR warnings. Given I only received the missing orders (not counting the two I'd misplaced, I was still actually missing three) after I sent personal warnings, it makes me a little worried about the future..... I do it so if you NMR, there are no excuses (as oppose to no good excuses).

Regards!
