PREV  Spring 1765 Adjudication:  NEXT

Friends,

Allegiances appear to be shifting. France and Prussia represent a potential juggernaut, stretching nearly the width of the continent. Sweden, Russia and Saxony cooperate nicely, but the potential of the two junior partners seems highly questionable. And the most unholy of all alliances - Austria and the Ottoman Empire - momentarily slows Prussian ambitions. Meanwhile, Denmark-Norway, Great Britain, and Spain do not appear to be coordinating with anyone and - perhaps as a result - flounder as top continental powers consolidate strong positions.

The Polish army in Switzerland is popped off the board so there are no retreats. We march straight on to Fall 1765.

Prelims due Friday; orders due next Tuesday January 17.

Happy hunting!

Dirk
