PREV  Fall 1903 Adjudication:  NEXT

Who's ready for the strangest adjudication I've ever seen? You all better be!!

Germany NMRs, which gives France significant breathing room as England meanders around Iberia and into the Med. Italy and Russia have at it against Austria and Turkey. Austria fights to her last breath, but Turkey surprises everyone by surrendering. This is not an NMR - Turkey sent in orders specifying he was going to surrender, which I have interpreted as a permanent order to have his units stand until I receive orders from you saying otherwise. But for all apparent purposes, Kirk has opted to drop out of the game.

So this turn all his units stand, assuredly. But I'm going to discuss with other GMs what to do, and we may or may not replace Kirk (who will not mind, as he explained to me). I'll get back to you on that. Also, Kirk can quickly solve the problem by simply telling me he would like to be replaced. But maybe he has some master strategy............

Rick, if you NMR next turn (not counting the winter, for which you have no adjustments) I will have to replace you. Please don't make me do that.

Here are the moves:

Italy takes Smy from Turkey.
Russia takes Ank from Turkey.
England takes Bre from France.
Russia takes Vie from Austria.
Italy takes Gre from Austria.

Austria has no more supply depots, so the retreats automatically retreat OTB. Thanks for playing to the bitter end, Brian. I'd've hoped someone whose DC moniker was "TrustMe" would have had better luck, but I guess the Key Lepanto had different ideas.... Good luck in your future games! We appreciate you sticking it out till the end.

For the builds/disbands

Turkey disbands 1 unit.
Russia may build 2 units.
Italy may build 2 units.
England may build 1 unit.

Builds/disbands due 2/15 at 3:00 GMT I'll adjud earlier if I get all the builds/disbands (not including Turkey, whose disbands will follow DC house rules for this situation).

Ummmm, I'm also having some trouble attaching the new map to this e-mail...... But the map is on the site and hopefully I'll be able to e-mail the map out later today.....

Regards, and check for errors!
