PREV  Fall 1765 Adjudication:  NEXT

Friends,

As the third year winds to a conclusion, two great powers are, alas, no more. Jim Atkins' Poland/Saxony and Suzanne Castagne's Russia fall beneath the boots of Prussian-Swedish hegemony. Thank you both for playing and providing timely orders until the very end. I do hope you will submit end of game reports.

Elsewhere, Prussia continues to grow despite relatively mixed results compared to past bounding success. France is the big winner this year, working with Denmark-Norway to compound the misery of the fading Britons. Keeping a stiff upper lip, the Brits have re-trenched in Norway and have a decision to make about from where to pursue their fortune. Meanwhile, despite an Austrian build, the Hapsburgs join the Ottomans and Spanish in being largely left out of the continental growth festivities.

There is only one retreat: British F Edinburgh can retreat to Ireland or Liverpool or North Atlantic Ocean or OTB. If OTB, Britain will not have a disband. Feel free to send in conditional adjustments based on this retreat.

Retreat and adjustments due Thursday January 19 at the usual time.

Happy hunting!

Dirk
