Chosokabe Motochika was the lord of Tosa Province, who extended his domain to control all of Shikoku, albeit briefly. He was able to defeat the rival Ichijo clan of Iyo, but unable to repel the 100,000 men that Toyotomi Hideyoshi brought to the shores of Shikoku.

***TEAHOUSE COMMENTARY: Our Chosokabe player has fared much better than his namesake, controlling al of Shikoku, the majority of Kyushu, and a fair stake of Honshu to boot. Asakura's grip of the imperial throne in Kyoto is threatened by the encircling Chosokae forces. Meanwhile, Mori dislodges the last remaining Shimazu fleet from Iwami Coast. Oda disrupts the Uesugi/Hojo attack on Hida, but gains no ground against Hojo. Uesugi fares better, being the first to reach the Sea of Japan.
