PREV  Fall 1652 Adjudication:  NEXT

Hi guys,

Denmark lives to see another day. Holstein - devastated by English marauders - remains in the hands of the House of Oldenburg. And the Danes moved into Dutch quarters vacated by the vaunted Army of Flanders (who've now returned to their home base after being on a circular tour).

Owing to Denmark's gradual decline, Sweden now lords over the entirety of Scandinavia.

Farther south, it looks like the Austrians and Russians now are at war with Spain. Rather than try to defend Constantinople against overwhelming odds, Spain pivoted towards Austria. The most Catholic King has also lost ground in the British Isles. There, England managed to recover Scotland with Russian aid.

The Russians have been busy sailing around the map. Causing Madrid quite a bit of grief, I'd wager. Now they threaten to force the Egyptian bottleneck, possibly opening up the Maghreb to those hardy Cossacks.

Since yesterday, Andrew, Gert and Patrick are now also participating in my 1936 variant playtest. If any of you are interested in seeing how they fare, let me know and I'll put you on the observer list.

I need winter orders from everyone save Leif. Deadline's on Thursday 3 PM GMT.

Cheers,

Charles
