Greetings from Edinburgh!
Just made it back to Edinburgh yesterday after doing a week-long circular tour up the East coast to Inverness and then back through the Central Highlands. So, now I get to do the adjucation from the comfort of my aunt's home. :) Given that it's raining cats and dogs outside, a little indoor activity certainly doesn't hurt.
Okay, hope the below adjucation is without any mistake. Arguably the most interesting developments may be observed in Northern Central Europe as direct Imperial control is established over Rhineland-Westphalia and Lower Saxony, while Electoral Saxony falls into Polish hands. In the meanwhile, England has suffered a setback by losing the United Provinces and its naval squadron posted there, but has now brought parts of the New Model Army to the continent.
On another note, it looks like our last minor power has bitten the dust. I think most games will see some surviving longer - even until the end of the game. Anyway, with the Pope becoming subservient to Imperial interests, I'd say Italy has never been in so firmly in the Emperor's hands since - hm - Otto the Great or Henry III? Round 962-1073 AD, that is.
Now, what about deadlines? Well, I'd say next Wednesday should leave ample time for dipping. So 9 September will be the Fall 1653 deadline - unless anyone objects. As for the French retreat, I suggest Nathan simply broadcasts it to everyone no later than Saturday, 5 September.
