England NMR's
Draw Proposal Fails
New EGP Proposed
Russia is on Thin Ice...Can the Russian Fleet Find a New Home?
Is England Going to Find a Home? The Wolves are Closing In...
The Med is Abuzz with Activity as Forces Reposition
And the Saga of the German General Continues in Our Press...

All,
Sadly I must report that England NMR's. I tried to reach out to David but got no response.

David - if you have some orders that I confirmed and I missed something please let me know. Also, a second NMR in the Fall would lead to England going into CD...

We have no retreats. BUT we do have a new EGP - a three-way draw between FGT. Please remember to vote with Fall orders. A missing vote counts as a NO.

Since we have no retreats, we move to Fall1905. That deadline will be next Tuesday the 22nd at 12p CT.

Garry

PRESS
The black zeppelin skimmed low across the sleeping roofs of Astrakhan, passing unnoticed over the empty Russian garrisons, whose troops had long since returned to their families as the distant Tsar lost control in the face of invading armies. At the controls was General Von Liegender Unhold himself, with the French Ambassador Monsieur Fromager Puant clinging to the arms of the co-pilot’s seat, terror in his eyes.

‘Relax Fromager’ chuckled the general, ‘I am the best pilot in Germany and you are in safe hands’.

Far from relaxed was young Otto Schmidt dangling from a wire 100 feet below the zeppelin’s gondola . HIs mission was simple; drop through the skylight of Dimitri’s Caviar Emporium; secure a crate of the finest beluga; three tugs on the wire and he’d be back in the ship and on his way back to Berlin.

The Emporium, garishly lit, loomed close in the otherwise darkened streets of Astrakahn and Otto prepared to release his harness. As Unhold expertly manoeuvred, he braced for impact. Ten feet, 5 feet, 4, 3, 2, 1 and with a crash Otto plunged through the skylight and into the shop below. Rising to his feet, brushing broken glass from his coat, Otto looked up, straight into the muzzle of a pistol.

‘Ah, Corporal Schmidt. I have been expecting you…’, came a voice from the shadows.
