PREV  Fall 1905 Adjudication:  NEXT

A zestfully busy year leading to five unit disbands and five build opportunities. I'll give you a tip: England will be disbanding his fleet in NAt. Sadly, he has no choice, as he has no other units, and he has no supply centers.

Arrivederci, Sam. Alas, your fleet was unable to sail to Switzerland, valiantly though it tried.

France convoys to NAf?!

Germany takes centers from three different players: England (Edinburgh), France (London), and Italy (Trieste). It's kind of a sampler platter.

Italy can console himself in occupying Tyrolia while he figures out which three units to disband.

Russia provides a clinic on How to Hold... a clinic which might have been undermined (who knows?) if it weren't for the fact that:

Turkey NMRs.

So, where does this leave us? Let's check the scoreboard:
Germany: 10 (3 builds)
Russia: 9 (2 builds)
France: 7 (1 disband)
Italy: 5 (3 disbands)
Turkey: 3 (No adjustments)
Austria & England: at least they're spared the misery of having to get stabbed and betrayed any more by the rest of you.

No retreats.

In the Big Picture: in case you haven't checked, there is still one Round 1 game in the works. You can ask Clark for details, he's a 7-center France in DC 298. Otherwise, there has only been one solo in the first round (and Joe Hackett isn't in DC 314, so you can't gang up on him... though I doubt any of you could do a better job than the folks over in DC 312... Joe is resembling LeRoy Brown in the old Jim Croce song: "Leroy looked like a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone"... my point is: this tournament is still wide open).

Alright, the envelope please...
