*Turks Evacuate Constantinople as Enemies Surge In!*
*London Falls to the French, Queen Flees to Country Estate!*
*Germans and Russians Swap Centers (Again!)*

Hey all,

Well, team, it was a fun turn to watch. For France and Austria, it was probably a fun turn as well. For England and Turkey, maybe not so much. For the rest of you, it seemed like a mixed bag. I have to admit, I enjoy the almost "synchronized dance" of Russia and Germany swapping centers back and forth. Both manage to reclaim a home center, and both have to retreat a unit. In fact, we have an unprecedented (in this game) 3 units who need to retreat. They get slightly complicated because you can not retreat to a center where a bounce took play that turn, so here are the options:
English A Lon - Yor or OTB
Russian A Ber - Sil or OTB (Mun was bounced, and the attacker came from Pru)
German A War - Lvn, Pru, Ukr or OTB (Mos was bounced, and the attacker came from Sil)

that leaves us with the builds:
Austria: +1
England: Even (or +1 if Lon retreats OTB)
France: +1
Germany: Even (technically +1 if War retreats OTB, but no available center to build in)
Italy: +1
Russia: Even (technically +1 if Ber retreats OTB, but no available center to build in)
Turkey: -1

May the force be with you!

John
