ANONYMOUS PRESS:
Mssr. President Emile Claude Bonjour La Grande DeLusione asked several members of The Press to come to his home outside of the the town of Ville de Canards Myope. Speaking from the balcony of his country estate, President DeLusione proclaimed this month as "Be Nice to Vermin Month". President DeLusione told the press "Vermin are an under-appreciated member of the Natural Order. Let's think about it." He then retreated into his estate, calling an end to the press conference. After an additional hour, the members of the Press decided the President was not going to add anything more to his statement and left.

SOVIET PRESS:
From the desk of Stalin:
Socialism and capitalism can never work together, not in the long run. The whole
rationale for the communism is that capitalism is a broken system that will collapse
into a war between the classes, a war that the proletariat will inevitably win. The
battles raging now at our borders are the outbreak of that war in Polish occupied
Europe. While we may lose initially - and the forces of the People are already
stretched to breaking point in the fight with the fell forces of fascism - we have no
choice but to start the battle now. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is
Strength. Vulnerability is invincibility.

Editor's note:
Stalinism is stupidity ...

Vasily Blokhin's note:
Blam.

Editor's note:
Gurgle ...

Putin's note:
What's past is prologue.

Pravda classifieds:
The Red Orchestra is visiting the Vistula. Will they play the Joyful Overture or will
it disappear forever?
