PREV  Fall 1905 Adjudication:  NEXT

Russia NMR's This Time (It Didn't Matter, He Was Destined for the Gulag Anyway)
England Comes Back and Sneaks Denmark to Stay Alive
Austria is Stabbed Direly by Germany Who Relegates Austria to Minor Power Status
Turkey Tries (Unsuccessfully) to Aid in the Austrian Demise
France Completes His Occupation of England
He Also Simultaneously Attacks Italy AND Supports Italy (Both to No Avail)
EGP Fails With No New Ones Proposed
And FINALLY We See That It Isn't Food That the German General Wanted After All - NEW PRESS

All,
I am exhausted after that recap. This turn had it all, including me being a bit late and an NMR (I didn't chase Russia down because his moves didn't matter).

We had two retreats (both with more than one option) but I auto-retreated them given the pending disbands for Austria. Austria CAN change the retreats with Winter orders IF desired:

A Mos retreated to Ukr (also could have gone to Lvn)
A Gal retreated to Boh (also could have gone to Sil)

With that, we move to Winter adjustments:

Austria remove 2
England remove 1
France build 1
Germany build 3
Russia remove 1

Winter deadline will be Saturday 4p CT.

Garry

PRESS

‘Ah, Corporal Schmidt. I have been expecting you…’, came a voice from the shadows.

Otto sank to his knees and put his hands in the air, resigned to his fate. The quest to obtain exotic foods for his beloved General Unhold had finally ended in failure. Still concealed in the shadows, his captor sneered, ‘Ha! So close, dear Corporal. So close, but your mission is finished. Before I kill you, you will tell me the location of the German High Command, and the passwords that will gain entry to your commander’s personal quarters’.

‘Never!’, cried Otto. ‘I will not betray General Unhold’.

‘Then I will force you to talk’, came the sinister reply. ‘I have exquisite methods… ugh!’.

Abruptly the man in the shadows fell to the ground, unconscious, and as he fell, General Unhold himself rappelled through the shattered skylight, closely followed by Fromager Puant. ‘Well done Otto!’, boomed the general. ‘A fine display of loyalty.’ Unhold stooped to retrieve his spiked helmet, which he had thrown from the zeppelin, knocking the shadowy assassin out. ‘Tie this man up and have him transferred to the airship’.

‘But who is he Herr General?’
‘See for yourself Otto’. The general rolled his captive over and dragged him into the light.
‘Oh mein Gott!’, cried Otto. ‘It’s Fishy McFishface, owner of the finest fish and chip shop in the world! I thought he had perished in our deepest Bavarian dungeon!’
‘Nein, nein, nein, young Otto. That was not the real McFishface, but a double cunningly put in place by this man. This is the real McFishface, but that itself is just an alias. This man’s real name is Kadın Budu Köftes, the commander of all Turkish bellydancing divisions, top agent for the Turkish empire and master of both disguise and British cuisine. His capture has been our true mission all along.’

‘So this wasn’t just about tasty British takeaway food, General?’, exclaimed Fromager. ‘You really were thinking about military objectives?’.
‘Of course my dear ambassador, what did you take me for? Now let’s get back to the zeppelin and head to Berlin without delay. I have a plan…’
