PREV  Fall 1906 Adjudication:  NEXT

We must soon bid adieu to our first fallen leader. When Autumn ends and the first snowflakes of Winter descend upon the Tyrolean Alps, the Austrian armies will break camp and march into the fog of history. We will miss you, Jon. Your game started promisingly until, in 1903, the glory of Austria was betrayed by the fickle loyalty of Italy. As usual. Thereafter, your downfall seemed unavoidable, in spite of Italy’s best attempts to avoid it (by coughing up Venice). Thank you for fighting to the end.

At long last, an English home center falls. Pending retreats, it seems probable that a German home center will fall, too. Elsewhere, Italy picks up the last Austrian center. And Russia gains one (but only one) center from the Turk… oh, and he gains Sweden.

A retreat order is needed from the French. No retreat order is needed from the dislodged Turk (but it’d be nice to receive one); he has but one viable option (though he may choose to disband and rebuild instead).

The French Army in Munich may retreat to Bohemia, Burgundy, Kiel, Silesia, or off the board.
The Turkish Fleet in Constantinople retreats to Aegean Sea unless Matt orders it to retreat off the board.

If we assume that France retreats into the unguarded Kiel, then the Winter adjustments will be:
Austria: Supp 0 Unit 1 Remove 1 (no order necessary)
England: Supp 2 Unit 3 Remove 1
France: Supp 7 Unit 6 Build 1
Germany: Supp 5 Unit 6 Remove 1
Italy: Supp 7 Unit 6 Build 1
Russia: Supp 11 Unit 9 Build 2
Turkey: Supp 2 Unit 2 Build 0

Not knowing who may or may not be around for the holidays, I am setting the Autumn retreats for next Tuesday, January 4. However, I will gladly adjudicate today, tomorrow, or Thursday, if I hear from both France and Turkey before then.
