PREV  Fall 1654 Adjudication:  NEXT

Hi guys,

this day had to come at some point: The last minor power succumbed to the bigger fish in the pond. And - in this shark tank - there's apparently no place for Mother Russia either. Mark, thanks for playing. I hope to hear your side of the story in an EOG (you can submit it to me for post-game publication, if you wish).

Though strictly speaking Russia isn't out yet. There are two retreats in order. Purely academic though.

While those fading powers are on their way out, our topdog has vaulted up to 14 SC's. Just one measly dot from being acknowledged as Europe's new hegemon! Shall the Sultan make it across the finish-line or is this simply Turkey's high-water mark?

I dare say 1655 will provide some answers...

On to more profane matters: I apologise for the postponing of the adjucation. On Wednesday, I only had a limited window to get it done. Since however some went into grace time, my scheduling went right out of the window. For the coming weeks, things will remain tight on my end. So, please, get your orders in well in advance.

That way I can adjucate promptly. And I won't have to nagg players about orders. A chore I could easily do without! Particularly when RL is imposing on me more than usual.

Anyway, I'm setting the deadline for Sunday as I already wrote in an earlier mail. 6 PM CET. I may however only get round to adjucating on Monday. Or get it done on Saturday, should I have all orders assembled.

Happy dipping!

Charles
