EGP's Fail
New DIAS Proposed
An Anti-German Coalition Forms?
Germany's Advance Halted
And He's Evicted from Austria
Italy Stays Neutral?
All Others Seem to Redeploy to Fight Germany

All,
Interesting developments this time out. The game seems to have taken a definite turn and should get real interesting from here.

We do have retreats needed before Winter:

German A Bur can retreat to Mun, Ruh or Gas
German A Vie can retreat to Boh or Tyr

Simon, can I have those tomorrow by 3p CT? If you send them sooner marked final I will get the orders ran and we can move to Winter.

OHHH...and the story continues in our PRESS.

AND we have a DIAS proposal. That will be voted on with Spring orders.

Garry

PRESS

‘No! Stop!’, cried Köftes, his eyes bulging in terror as Corporal Schmidt advanced towards him with an unsheathed bayonet.
‘Don’t do this. Please! I beg you’, the legendary Turkish agent spluttered. ‘This is so unnecessary and uncivilised’.
‘Do it Otto’, rumbled General Von Liegender Unhold. ‘End this farce’.

Otto roughly pushed the Turk to the ground and ripped off his tunic. As Koftes cowered on the floor, Otto used the bayonet to rip open the lining of the garment, revealing a once delicious, but now slightly decaying pitta bread stuffed with meat and salad.

‘What’s that?’, asked the French Ambassador Fromager Puant.
‘It is the perfect doner kebab, my dear Fromager’, said the General. ‘This is what we have been seeking’.
‘A sandwich, sir?’, said Otto.
‘Not just a sandwich Otto. Open it up’.
Otto opened the pitta and pushed his fingers into the greasy filling.
‘Nothing special, sir’, he said.
‘Keep looking Otto. You clearly do not appreciate that this is the most important moment in German history’.

Pulling the kebab apart, Otto discovered a small piece of film concealed inside a slice of tomato.
‘Is this it herr General?’
‘No!’, screamed Köftes. ‘Put that back!’
‘What is it General?’, Fromager asked.
‘Here. Take a look’, said Unhold passing the ambassador a powerful magnifying glass.

Fromager scrutinised the film carefully, squinting through the glass. After a few seconds he gasped. ‘Mon dieu! Is this what I think it is?’
‘Yes, dear Fromager. What you have in your hand are the full details of Turkish troop dispositions, the names of their commanding officers, their home addresses, the location of all command centres, tactical manuals, orders for their next offensive and an in-depth analysis of their defensive weaknesses’.
‘And General! There is also an excellent recipe for meatballs!’, added Otto.
‘This means that the war is effectively over General’, said Fromager. ‘I am amazed at what you have achieved’.

With a broad smile on his face, Unhold swept out of the dungeon, triumphant at last, leaving the broken Köftes on his knees in front of Otto.
’Now we will see Germany triumphant!’, boomed the General. ‘You all took me for a fat fool, but now you must appreciate my genius.’
