PREV  Fall 1907 Adjudication:  NEXT

“But this Caesar does not pit man against man: he throws a legion at you where you are weakest as he throws a stone from a catapult; and that legion is as a man with one head, a thousand arms, and no religion.”

- “Caesar and Cleopatra” by George Bernard Shaw

Today, in the role of Caesar, we have Dirk. For a third straight season, his orders will permit no obstruction. He hurls a legion at Moscow. A catapult’s stone lands in Belgium. He lends support to the seizing of Silesia. The godless English march forward.

EFG stand in a circle and trade centers to the left. England takes Belgium. France takes Holland. Germany takes Denmark. I’m getting dizzy.

Meanwhile, Austria kind of claims a victory, if dislodging the French forward can be thought of as victory.

Three units are dislodged. The Austrian army in Silesia has no retreat and is disbanded.
The Russian army in Moscow auto-retreats to Sevastopol.
The French fleet in Ionian Sea may retreat to Albania, Apulia, Eastern Mediterranean, or OTB.

That retreat is due tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. CST, Mark.

Looking ahead to the Winter, we have two builds. Austria gets to rebuild his army. England gets a build from Moscow (but Russia does not disband, as he was already a unit short). That order will be due on Wednesday.
