What Does Fall Hold?

All,
We somehow avoid the need for retreats so we move straight to Fall this Thursday at 9p EST. I will give the proper farewell to our Turkish friend if and when Fall comes and goes with him without an SC.

Good luck.

Oh, yeah. I guess officially I should inform you that the EGP fails. But I am guessing you could have figured that out.

PRESS from Turkey:
End Game Statement if no units left:
A game of Marks and Mikes as my only possible ally after Italian/Austrian flow through move was Russia. I could expect little help from the west because England was checkmating France and Germany.

The Russian Question? Was Russia in the Austrian pocket from fall 1901 onwards? As there was little communication with Mike and very convenient A/R stand off moves I began to think so. Then there was the fleet move to Rum when an Army could have been placed there, followed by Rum gift to AH. So 3/1 on T; it is surprising I made it to 1908.

The Question of England? I was never sure of what camp he was in, only that it was to Austrian advantage that he kept both G and F from being able to mount an effective or sustained move on East. He began in 06 to surrender SC to Germany for this to work Austria would have to be kept from taking Mun or Ber. It worked because Austria headed south to defend her gains in the East. So is this some grand plan to defeat France who has solo in round 1 by A/E/G or is this plan hatched by E/G to deal with Austria and France or bad move guess by Marc?

A very instructive game as I was in over my head diplomatically. I learned a lot from these masters of Diplomacy and will attempt to put some of these lessons to work in future games.
