I'm afraid the adjucation had to wait until our celebrations died down following Germany's victory. Congrats to the US team. They've really played themselves into my heart (as South Korea have done as well), though my guess is that US fans are in awful risk of heart attacks given how close Donovan & Co tend to cut it. Happy also that at least one African team made it to the next round. No cakewalk for the US, for sure. But hey, nor for us Germans either, if England's starting to find their form.
The season has been quite eventful. Since it's late, I'll leave it at that.
A two-way Polish-Turkish draw proposal has been advanced and is now up for a vote.
