Hi Players,

My, my, my. It seems that some little boys still like to play with matches, and the result is a Summer brush fire in the previously safe white North.

EGP: The DIAS proposal fails.

Highlights:

* Turkey occupies Sweden! If it can hold on one more season, this game could be over! It's not a sure thing, by any means, but it looks like ejecting him could take the combined might of three countries -- and you never know when a simple error in logistics can lead to disaster. For want of a nail....
* Italy destroys the Turkish army in Tuscany. Rome and Naples are feeling a bit more secure... but that's what I would have said about Sweden, too, so what do I know?
* And then there's Tunis. Who's going to cover there?
* And Marseilles. Will the French repatriate their Southern jewel?

Why do I get the sense that even as the West works together to stop the Turk, there are still some unresolved internecine rivalries in play?
