Hi Players,

The DIAS proposal has failed. A new one is proposed for the Fall, along with a three-way draw:

* DIAS - 6-way draw including all surviving powers
* 3-way draw including England, Italy and Turkey (EIT, or even better, TIE)

As for the board, it's nice to see everything put back in order after the raging chaos of 1917.

* England, Russia and Turkey have a nice game of rotate-left in Scandinavia, swapping ownership of St. Pete, Norway and Sweden amongst themselves and neatly lining up everyone on the proper side of the line.
* And everywhere else we see the few uninvolved units filling in behind the nearest front, but none of those fronts budge an inch.

RETREATS:

* Russian A St. Pete has just one place to go (Norway) and so the auto-retreat is taken.
* Turkish A Sweden has nowhere to go and is disbanded.

NEXT DEADLINE: Fall 1918 orders and EGP votes are due on Thursday, July 28, by 18:00 EDT.
