DC408 winter 1902 update - coryfucius   (Feb 06, 2012, 2:26 pm)
Yes, Italy did send a revised disband, and I acknowledged it... so here comes another update. Since it's near the normal deadline already, in order to give everyone a chance to react to the new map, the spring 1903 deadline will be extended by a day, to Tuesday 2/7 at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT.  I'll wait a while on acknowledging the orders I have already received, in case you have changes. Cory ----- Winter 1902 REVISED adjustments: England:
Build F Liverpool
Build F Edinburgh Germany:
Build A Kiel Italy:
Remove A Tyrolia Russia:
Build F St
Petersburg(nc)
Build A Moscow Turkey:
Build F Smyrna

Roll up! Roll up!

There's a spot left in the Stonehenge game - re002. This variant doesn't run very often. You'll never have a better chance to show Charlemagne the Great how it should have been done!

C'mon, the nine of us have been waiting for a while now. Jump in and have some Dark Ages fun! Laughing

DC397 End of Game - Germany with the Solo - MagDox   (Feb 04, 2012, 10:19 am)
Hi everyone,

Let me just thank Eric for being GM. It may not be a difficult job
but it does require a fair amount of time, and I'm very
appreciative.

Thanks to everyone else for the game. It was a pleasure playing with
you all and hope to meet you again. I hope the first-timers to DC
amongst us will come back with some more experience and try again.

I'll write an EOG in the next couple of days and send it to you all.
I look forward to reading your perspectives on the game too.

Best,

Gareth

MESSAGE:
Sorry for the delay.  Not calling anyone out, but James has been out of touch. I received a message from him earlier this week saying he was still under the weather but submitted tentative orders for Spring, but not a Winter adjustment.  So per the rules, I went with the center furthest from a home supply center, which is WMS.

The game is on as usual.  There are two draw proposals, proposed as a 3-way RAT and 4-way FART.  Please vote with your Spring orders.  Once I have received a vote, it will be considered final unless I hear otherwise.  Once I have all of the votes and if they all read yes, I will announce the result at that time without revealing Spring orders.  Please vote early and often.  If you don't vote, it is a NO vote.

DC412 - Deadline reminder - Corrino   (Feb 03, 2012, 3:01 pm)
Hi Guys,

Retreats and adjustments for Autumn/Winter 1902 are due in just over 2 hours.  I expect to adjudicating within an hour of the deadline, so don't push it tonight.

Also, don't forget that if you owe me both a retreat AND an adjustment, you need to get BOTH in by the deadline.

For everyone, please be aware that you may submit your adjustments conditionally, based on the retreats that MIGHT occur.

e.g.  If France retreats F Brest - Picardy, Build F London.  Otherwise, Build F Edinburgh.

Just don't make it too complicated.  I don't want pseudocode or a fancy decision tree.  Plain English, if you please.

Cheers,
Chris

One thing about the Winter Blitz... orders are always due. Four weekdays a week, orders are due. Was there an adjudication yesterday? There's probably another due today. Keeping up with it is a logistical challenge... as Russia is finding out the hard way.
Helpful tip: when you read an adjudication, don't X-out of the window; send prelims immediately.
Austria overrides the auto-retreat and disbands F Greece.
Russia submits no retreats and disbands F Sweden.
Austria builds A Budapest
England builds A Liverpool
France builds F Marseilles
Germany builds A Berlin
Russia (wince) waives three builds

Sorry, folks, the adjudication I sent out yesterday had the wrong version of Italian orders.  Dorian pointed out the error in time.  Germany still regains Munich, but an Italian army is now in Burgundy and the Russian army in Bohemia remains in place instead of having to retreat to Silesia. Winter 1902 adjustments are still the same as before:  England:  build 2  Germany:  build 1  Italy:  remove 1  Russia:  build 2  Turkey:  build 1 Since the change in position may affect what builds you want, I'll make sure not to run the turn until at least 2 hours after the normal 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT deadline. Your humble(d)
