Okay, now everything is clear.... like mud. Lot's of bouncing going on.
Unfortunately we say so long to Austria this year. I will take the liberty of retreating Serbia OTB since Albania is the only option. No nmr will be charged of course. Thanks for playing Sam... I know how that feels as Austria. And on another note, the last three games I've GMd have all seen Austria eliminated by the end of 1902. Huh.
So on with it. We have one other retreat, for Russia.
Fleet Sweden can retreat to Finland, Gulf of Bothnia or Skagerrak.
The retreat will be due in 21 hours, Wednesday November 23 at 16:00 MST. Winter adjustments will be due this Thursday, 16:00 MST. That's 23:00 GMT for both times. I have family visiting so I don't know how prompt I'll be, but I'll try to sneak away.....

In the section on isthmuses… if you connect two land zones which divides two sea zones, then the default is for them to then be treated like Denmark-Sweden. That is, no coasts, fleets can enter and exit either side. That’s easily represented in map form via a canal right on the border.
One can (but doesn’t have to) specifiy you’d prefer in the join, only a canal in one province or the other (leading to dual coasts in one province), or none at all (leading to dual coasts on both provinces)
The English fleet is now on the West Coast of London (bordering ENG).

Hi Steve. The least good thing about that was the certainty
that it gives Turkey two builds! Not a lot to be done about that I think
for the moment (although I won’t point out to him that a convoy to Serbia
is his best move!), but we need to watch it.
The situation is more complicated than I outlined in my note
including Turkey, including A ordering Bud-Vie (which is where he’ll
finish up anyway!)
Elsewhere, England seems happy, although the Channel divide
will hamper him. You have options to consider, but for Turkey and me the
Fall looks pretty straightforward.

Results are out! The face of Europe is forever changed... Volcanoes shoot up in the Belgian lowlands, displacing all that water from the Channel into the interior of France... Serbia gains a coast on the Black Sea... Italians in Trieste?? Germans in Burgundy?? So many units lined up around Rumania... I can't wait to see what happens next! This game is so much fun to watch. Remember this Thu/Fri is a holiday for most Americans, so next deadline is the following Monday - November 28, 3pm Central!
First tho, England must immediately choose if he wishes his F Lon to exist on EC or WC of London. Whenever you decide Kevin, just send to the group. By Monday?

Thanks to a doctor's visit and the demands of my job, I am hastening to get out an adjudication before I depart for the day. No doubt, I will make a mistake, but I don't have the time to -- as expressed by Augustus Caesar and related by my good Roman historian Suetonius -- make haste slowly.
The main news of import: there is no draw.
Nor is there much appreciable advance by France.
Nor does Austria succeed in recapturing Vienna (equally supported movements offset, dontcha know).
And there are no retreats.
So, Dirk, please send us your build. I'll adjudicate it early next week. And then we can all get a few days off for Thanksgiving.
