DC350: 12h for Fall 1904 (dc350) Rocketship Feb 15, 11:04 pm |
We've now reached the deadline and I am still missing orders from Austria, England, and Germany. I am now invoking Germany's 24h grace period.
All are free to submit orders until the new deadline.
If I don't receive orders from England and Austria, then I'll be forced to put those countries into civil disorder; I'll then seek replacements during Spring 1905.
Cheers,
Matthew

DC350: Fall 1904
Sorry for the extra delay, folks. I took the wife out for a date, last night.
Despite the extra-long delay, we're still missing English orders. As this is the second NMR in a row for England, I'm placing the country in civil disorder. I am now seeking a replacement England, however I will not be delaying the next deadline on account of this.
Here is your adjudication:
Austria:
A Budapest Supports A Vienna - Trieste (*Cut*)
A Serbia Supports A Vienna - Trieste (*Disbanded*)
A Tyrolia - Venice
A Vienna - Trieste (*Fails*)
England:
F Denmark, no move received
A Edinburgh, no move received (*Disbanded*)
F Liverpool, no move received (*Disbanded*)
F London, no move received
France:
A Burgundy, no move received
F Clyde - Edinburgh
F English Channel - Belgium
F Irish Sea Supports A Wales - Liverpool
A Wales - Liverpool
A Yorkshire Supports F Clyde - Edinburgh
Germany:
A Holland Supports A Kiel
A Kiel Hold
A Ruhr Supports A Kiel
Italy:
F Aegean Sea - Smyrna (*Fails*)
A Albania - Serbia
F Apulia - Ionian Sea
F Greece Supports A Bulgaria
A Munich Supports F Baltic Sea - Kiel
A Trieste Supports A Rumania - Budapest (*Cut*)
Russia:
F Baltic Sea - Kiel (*Fails*)
A Berlin Supports F Baltic Sea - Kiel
F Black Sea - Rumania (*Fails*)
A Bulgaria Supports A Albania - Serbia
F Norway - North Sea
A Rumania - Budapest (*Fails*)
A Silesia Supports A Munich
Turkey:
F Ankara, no move received
A Constantinople, no move received
F Smyrna, no move received
The only retreats are English, but a country in civil disorder automatically disbands. We therefore skip straight to the adjustments:
France:
Build
Build
Germany:
Remove
Italy:
Build
Russia:
Build
Build
Please get your orders in by Sunday, February 20, 2011, at 05:00GMT. Spring 1905 is due Friday, February 25, 2011, at 05:00GMT.
Cheers,
Matthew |
DC350: 12h for Fall 1904 (dc350) Rocketship Feb 18, 02:16 am |
Hi Folks,
Two mistakes on that past adjudication:
First, I had one of France's orders incorrect:
A Bur S F Eng -> Bel
Second, for some reason I overlooked that I was also missing Turkey's orders. Terribly sorry about that; I'm not quite sure what to say. In any event, missing orders are missing orders, so that's still an NMR.
Please accept me apologies for the errors.

F Den can retreat to Helgoland Bight or Skagerrak (or OTB)
Those are due by 6pm CST tomorrow.
NOTE: Please send your orders to Mike Sims at
mike(at)fuzzylogicllc.net. Also copy the orders box (orders(at)diplomaticcorp.com). I
am out of the country and unable to do retreats, Fall and Winter this week. If
you fail to copy Mike and the box bad things happen!
I will return for Spring 1907 so send me those orders please. I
will confirm them on Monday (maybe Sunday) when I return.

DC 363 WB11 - Spring 1906 Results - Corrino (Feb 14, 2011, 7:19 pm) |
Hi Players,
Today may be Cupid's Day in our world, but I'm afraid to say I don't see a lot of love being spread around in 363.
To begin, let it be known that the EGP for a French-Russian draw was defeated.
Let it be further known that a new EGP has been submitted, this one for a Russian solo victory. Please submit your votes with your Fall orders.
With that business out of the way, let us proceed to the Spring turn. Notes of interest:
No retreats. No dislodgements. No where to go for Italian army Albania. Poof! It's gone!
We have lines of fleets in the North, lines of fleets in the South, and a nice tidy line of armies down the middle. I foresee either a football game or Europe's biggest line
dance.
Germany opts in? The Kaiser ignores Kiel and tries to help France into Denmark.
England opts out? The King says "Uh-oh. Storm's a brewin'. Let's go home."
Italy and Austria are locked into their deadly embrace, seemingly oblivious to the lions and tigers and bears prowling all around.
RETREATS: None.
EGP on the table: Russian Solo
NEXT DEADLINE: Fall 1906 orders are due Thursday, February 17, at 18:00 EST.
Cheers,
Chris

DC356 German Public Post - dipWolf (Feb 14, 2011, 7:14 pm) |
My dearest fellow leaders:
I hope this letter finds you well in your Capitals, and spring has come
early so your people are all a planting.
I wish to bear word that as of Wednesday February 16th 1904 the German
consulate will be temporarily closed.
Our foreign ministers, and the royal family will be off touring the
colonies and will return as of the 21st of February. You have our
sincere apologies. If you have an urgent post our staff at the palace
will try and forward it our way however our ability to reply depends on
the savageness of the colony we are in at the time.
All the best

dc358 spring 1906 results! - coryfucius (Feb 14, 2011, 7:07 pm) |
Once again, France NMRs, which stymies the German convoy. Germany once again marches into Marseilles, this time leaving no retreat options. Italy does sail into MAO.
Elsewhere, Italy and Turkey appear to have some mixed signals, as Turkey supports an Italian attack on Budapest that fails to materialize. Turkish fleets sail westward, while the Italian fleet finally departs Venice.
Two Italian armies are dislodged, but only one will be around for the fall:
The Italian army in Marseilles has no valid retreats and is destroyed.
The Italian army in Picardy may retreat to Burgundy or OTB.
As with last year, to keep the game moving, I'll go ahead and order that retreat to Picardy. Fletcher, if you want to retreat OTB instead, please let me know before 3pm Central tomorrow.
Fall 1906 orders will be due Thursday 2/17 at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT. Thanks!
Cory

Trust - thanks for GMing for the game.
All - I wish I had been a part from the beginning. For my part, it was interesting if not challenging. Kudos to Mat and Jerome for holding true to their 2-way pact. I had desperately hoped there was going to be a stab by one or the other but I didn't see one forthcoming in time to save the whiny French empire (yes, I was whiny to try to get them to stab...I am not naturally such a whiner). Alas I should have tried harder to work with Germany earlier but I misjudged how things were going to go and misread his intentions in sparse email communication. Unfortunately that plus England and Russia being intent on his destruction just furthered the strength of A/I. Again, congrats to Mat and Jerome - that is a hard relationship to hold true to and to work long-term.
I enjoyed my brief and poor stint as France. Best of luck to all and I hope to see you all in another game.
All the best,
Garry
