We have a proposal for a Russian Solo on the table. Vote yes, or vote
no before the fall deadline. No vote received = a vote for no.

DC 345: W1906 - AceRimmer   (Feb 01, 2011, 8:49 am)
Sorry for the delay. There was one set of straggling orders (which is noteworthy in that I think it's the first adjudication since the pre-game draft that has been delayed by late orders).
Adaria is worried by the green Hembrians around Iberia. Adaria builds a fleet on the Basque coast of Spain (north).
Hembria gives up the defense of the German homeland. Armies in Berlin and Kiel disband.
Zonotrichia refrains from overmilitarization. There's a new army in Sevastopol, but a second build is waived.
Happy February! Spring 1907 is due next Tuesday, February 8th, at the inscrutable hour of 3:00 CST (21:00 GMT)

DC 359 Summer 04 Adjucation - untitled36   (Feb 01, 2011, 8:25 am)
Hey all,

The last DPY was apparently an earlier one. I'm still quite perplexed by that, but since I'm still having so many issues, I took your advice and renamed the file. So hopefully that will end our problems. Let me know how it works out for you guys.

Also, Russia did, in fact, NRR (No retreats received). So Rum retreats OTB. And English F Nth-Hel.

So... we move on to Fall 04 on thursday at 8:00 AM CST (2:00 PM GMT). Snow-wise, we've got some ice, and the snow should be starting any minute, but no power outages yet. Still, the orders box is a great idea at all times!

I live in South Africa, so will need to adjudicate on Wednesday mornings when I get to work (5:30 ish GMT). This gives a natural period of grace for getting orders in a little late, so there should be no excuses for NMRs! I will try to
send reminders the day before, but real life may prevent that.

Use DC and game number when assigned in the subject line as I am playing a number of games and running a tournament on the Stabbeurfou site, so may get confussed!

Diplomats,

Germany gets an NMR, causing the combined Russian/English attack on Denmark to succeed. In the Balkans Austria takes a beating, as the combined forces of Turkey, Russia and Italy beat them back from Serbia. Will this threesome hold long
enough to save Italy from being left without any home provinces though? Austria is invading from all sides, and France looks poised to take a bite as well. Retreats are due tomorrow.

The rules will be standard house rules (http://www.diplomaticcorp.com/info.php?type=houserules )

To all, good luck!

So do we just go ahead and vote now for the two-way? Seriously. Unless someone is open to something changing, aren't we really just wasting precious time that we could use on other games?

DC 333, Autumn 1909 (dc333) alwayshunted Feb 11, 11:18 am
Hey everyone,

I've had a request to postpone this deadline, which I will do. For now I'm going to make it Tuesday, and I will try to contact the player that is away. I haven't been told when that person might be returning.

Temple Con this weekend - Corrino   (Jan 31, 2011, 7:44 pm)
Talk about your short notice!

This Friday to Sunday (Feb 4-6) is Temnple Con in Providence (really Warwick) R.I.

This is the first stop of four on the Nor'Easter leg of the NADF tournament schedule. DC's own Dirk Knemeyer will be there representing. I, myself, am pretty much retired from face-to-face competition, but I'll be there at some point to say "Hi!", second-guess my betters, and quaff refreshing malt beverages.

If you're in the neighborhood and any of that sounds like fun to you, reply to this post or send me an email.

Chris
aka Corrino

p.s. There is other stuff going on, of course, and my teens and I always have a good time. Check out the site at www.templecon.org if you want to see what else is happening.

Temple Con this weekend (Community) Blueraider0 Feb 06, 12:18 pm
Hey hey - if anyone wants to give me a bit of an update on how TempleCON went, that be great. I write for the DipWorld blog.

E-mail me at blueraider0(at)gmail.com While official tourney reports are nice, commentary from other players is more interesting and gives me some flexibility in what to write.

All,

Cutting it REALLY close with orders. Allow this to be your only reminder - we have AN EARLIER DEADLINE THURSDAY. It is my wife's birthday and I need orders by 4pm CST.

We had one retreat needed and it only had one option: A Ruh retreats to Holland. IF Andy wants he can let me know by tomorrow at 6pm CST and I will move it off the board.

Otherwise we move to what should be a tough Fall for some. Remember - 4pm CST!!!
