In my defense, yesterday was Cinco de Mayo. And it was the first Cinco de Mayo in years that I wasn't stuck studying for a final. By the time moves were due, I couldn't remember who I was or if I was wearing pants.

Hi Folks,
I just installed Realpolitik on my Mac but it doesn't seem to be working. It tries to find all of the variant files but can't find any of them - including Standard - and then crashes. Any of the experts here have experience with the Mac client?
Thanks!

Feel free to contact me with the issue you are having. I had some problems when I first tried to install it too but I use a Mac for all my RP stuff now.

Just refreshing this - I'm trying to get Realpolitik installed on my Mac but it keeps throwing errors and not installing. Any Mac Realpolitik users out there who might be able to help? I'm wanting to start GM games and support DC but not having RP installed makes it a non-starter. Kind thanks in advance. |

Hey,
I have Realpolitik running on my Mac without problems. What OS version are you using?
Matthew |
Realpolitik help (Help & Suggestions) dknemeyer May 28, 09:13 am |
Kind thanks for the reply Matthew. Mike Sims actually replied to me privately and pointed out an old forum thread that showed how to overcome the issues I was having. My Mac appeared to have it properly installed and loaded when in fact it was not yet fully installed as an application. The pointers also helped me figure out how to add new variants which I may not have been able to determine without it.
I am glad to be up and running. |

Alan just let the group know which unit to Epi and which OTB by tomorrow 3pm Central!
Then we have Fall 06, due Tues 5/11, 3pm Central.

The Russian sent no builds making it his second NMR. He has, therefore,
abandoned his position. I will seek a replacement unless he contacts me
otherwise.
A proposal for a German-French draw is on the table, but unless the
Russian player steps up, it will have to wait for his replacement.
If Russia doesn't reply by tomorrow (at) 2359 UTC, the game will hold
pending a replacement.

DC-322 Winter 825 - TheWhiteWolf (May 04, 2010, 5:29 pm) |
Guys, Our first season of builds! I heard from Frank, who's vacation destination does not provide the solid, reliable internet he expected. Because of this, I'm setting the deadline for this spring a bit long. I don't know just yet when he's expecting to return home, but I hope he'll get back to civilization soon, so we can return to a normal deadline schedule. After all, who needs time away when you can just jump into the Dark Ages?!

You know it's a good thing we have such a neighborhood watch going on here, everyone looking out for the missing kids on the milk cartons...
****************
MISSING: Younger sister of the Great Tacky Lawn Gnome. Answers to Vicky Pinkpampernoodlefluffikins or "Fluffy". Age: Old enough, fellas. Last seen on - what is this... wednesday? I guess maybe - Monday at Wal-Mart frequented by Trolls, Ogres, Barbarians, and Goth kids who are totally not conforming - I mean the undead. - Reward for any information that leads her to that lawn we needed her to attend to... and I guess her family.

What a lethal year, annother power eliminated, and some pretty deathly stabs!
Magicians are eliminated! Than you Joerg, hopefully next time in life you find yourself up against some combination of Trolls and Skeletons, you fare somewhat better. Hobbits relocate underground to the safety of the Spirit Pond... their homeland devastated by the Pirates, Samurai, and Elves... And speaking of the Elves, could they have gotten hit any harder? With troops all over the map and the homeland a gaping hole, what's in store next for our pointy-eared friends? Of course the Dwarves and Barbarians dont do much better - both empires reduced to but a single center.
We have a ton of adjustments. All of which, are due Thursday 5/6, at 3pm Central...
RETREATS:
Dwarves: A Krikkit
Faeries: A Vinyaya
Nomads: A Great Glacier
Hobbits: A Mordor, F Baldurs Gate
Magicians: F Ergoth and F Krynn both disband, eliminated!
(not even magic retreats could save the Magicians here)
BUILDS:
Archers: Build 2
Centaurs: Build 1
Dwarves: Remove 2
Faeries: Remove 1
Gnomes: Build 1
Hobbits: Remove 2
Knights: Build 1
Nomads: Remove 1
Ogres: Build 2
Pirates: Build 1
Samurai: Build 1

I have no idea whats going on this game! Excitement all over... Russia finally gets into Rumania, but finds Warsaw surrounded by enemy forces... England floats uninhibited into Belgium, and Austria / Italy clash over Trieste - both making a solid play for the Austrian port, but in the end nothing moves. Onward to fall!

Crap - too short on time, too keeping it quick - I forgot to announce
that there is a DIAS proposal - votes are required, privately to GM,
with your next orders. Unanimous approval from all survivors required
to pass.
