Right. I'm sorry. I've told a few of you of the upcoming draw proposal and good thing too, because I would've completely forgotten.
Together with the Summer 03 Adjudication, we also have a draw proposal in which Turkey and Russia would be awarded a two-way draw and the rest would be given survivals. In order to pass, the proposal needs unanimous support. So, with your Fall 1903 orders, please also advise me on how you feel about the draw. A simple "yes" or "no" will do. If any player votes "no" the game continues. Also, if anyone does not vote, a "no" is assumed. That's how EOG proposals work.
Now, if the proposal is passed, I will not be revealing anyone's moves for the season. If the vote fails, I'll let you know and the moves will be adjudicated as usual. So please send me both your moves AND your vote. All votes will be kept confidential, even after the game is completed.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

I love multi-national convoys! So rare and yet so awesome! And, in
this case, quite an interesting development as well as Italy carries an
English army across the channel to see what havoc it can wreak on
continental Europe. Elsewhere it's a rough season for Austria as even
though German assistance leads to a successful attack on Galicia the
Archduke loses Budapest to the Russians and Trieste to the Turks.
There was only one retreat and it only had one option, so I have retreat
Russia's A Galicia - Ukraine. Brandon, if you prefer OTB just let me know.
We have a player out of town until September 22nd, so our next deadline,
for Fall 1905, will be this coming Thursday, September 24th, at 9 pm
eastern.

Honored Kings of the Dark Ages -
Welcome back to the battlefield - we see here the fallout from the
massive shift in alliances that took place last season. What appeared
to be the great invasion across the North Sea has been averted, both
north and south.
Both the Norse and Scots and the Danes and Anglo-Saxons peaceably
disengage, as the Norse armada plunges east to deal with the Danish
invaders. The Danes succeed in claiming two Norwegian dots, but the
loss of one will be offset by the Norse capture of the last Swedish
SC. Meanwhile, the Bretons face a concerted attack by Scots,
Anglo-Saxons, and Gaels that restores the Anglo-Saxons to their
previous holdings. The Gaels will surely be pleased by the restored
dominion over their homeland and successful convoy to Pengwern.
This season brings about the elimination of our Swedish player, Mark
Duffield. Mark, thanks for playing, and I welcome your EOG statement
and any thoughts on the variant.
Two Retreats are needed, both by the Bretons:
Breton F Cornwall can retreat to Bristol Channel, Somerset(nc),
Somerset(sc), or OTB.
Breton A Hamptonshire can retreat to Somerset, Sussex, or OTB.
Matt - please broadcast those to the group as soon as you're ready, by
the end of the day on Monday at the latest.
The Winter Adjustments will be due on Thursday, 24 September, at 1700
EDT. If an extension is needed due to the short negotiating window,
please advise, but I think for a winter it will suffice. Projected

haha.....you guys suck! And the GM says "NO! Who's going to write press if Frank is gone???"
Well, I can at least say I saw the chance coming. One member of the new "Let's just kill Frank" alliance didn't hold his cards too well, and gave me enough of a peak that I considered ordering a cover to Holland. Prudence told me though that if there were three against me, it might be better to fail catastrophically than to inch into oblivion.
As it turns out (sorry to get heavy for a bit), I've got a friend in Gib who just went into CCU do to a couple of brain embolisms. He's in poor shape. So I might be getting on a plane in a day or two. With these current results, I won't have to think about letting the game down by disappearing or just going through the motions. A good thought (or prayers from the faith based out there) for my buddy Jeff would be appreciated.
Huge Kudos to Max, who while still at two, had the player most trying to step on this throat laid low. Also kudos to an unnamed player (I'll save for eog) who crafted the perfect lie to help sway things against me.
To Jorge and Joe, a pox on both your houses. ; )
Oh....and I have a very live fleet that can help somebody. If you have anything in mind, drop me a line. I won't be responding right away most likely, but there is no sense wasting a perfectly good unit. And if you all keep me alive, I might just keep the press flowing when I have the chance.

Dc Mods are urged to avoid Atlantic City, as the Moderator picks get slammed! Balkans and Germany are reduced to 2 a piece, to be outdone for last place only by our newbie game winner and odds guru Frank.

Hallo zusammen!
I wish I had received all orders at a sooner date, since Harvey got his own in quite swiftly and hence the long delay was not on account of his absence. Lets all do our part in keeping the game on track.
All navy blue has now disappeared from the map as imperial gold (or on account of Realpolitik's colour scheme yellow) has spread to much of Central Europe. Will the Emperor yet encounter concerted opposition or shall Europe acquiesce to Imperial hegemony? Most games I've participated in have at such an advanced stage seen a flurry of end-game proposals, to date so remarkably absent in this game.
We have another "first" to note in that Poland-Lithuania was built a naval squadron of its own and at that, in Black Sea ports.
In recent days, I've taken another look at my "Locarno: Europe 1926" variant (now for simplicity's and consistency's sake renamed "1926" . While giving it the same look as the one I gave the 1648 map, I also redrew the Atlantic sea spaces in a similar fashion as I have done with 1648 v3.0 (i.e the version I shall be using for the next game). The other change directly inspired by 1648 was to cap a great power's DP investment in any minor power at 2 max so as to encourage the spreading of one's DPs and encourage further cooperation over DPs between players. I also downsided Germany to a 3-SC power while at it for play balance reasons. Anyway, you can check out http://www.dipwiki.com/index.php?title=1926 if interested in the result.
