Well, another year has passed. The first thing of note is John's NMR.
Our Austrian failed to submit his moves this turn, which is
unfortunate, because both of his units get disbanded. That, along with
the capture of Vienna, Serbia, and Budapest in one turn means that
Austria has been eliminated. Thanks for playing, John. In other news,
Scandinavia's new ownership becomes official, with failed attacks
against both centers. Also, with Serbia and Spain under the control of
Turkey and France, respectively, our last two free centers have been
taken. Since we don't have any retreats, due to Austria's elimination,
all we have our builds, which will be due at 5:00, ET (the 10th).

Austria and Turkey continue their combined assault on Russia, overcoming Russian efforts to stymie the assault on Sevastopol. The Tsar offsets part of his losses, as Russia and England hammer Germany. Italy halts Austria's attempt to advance westward, and sails into the Adriatic.
Both dislodged German units have no valid retreats and are destroyed. The Russian fleet in Sevastopol may retreat to Armenia or OTB.

Well, the only rider unseated from his horse this season was the Italian army in Piedmont. He may nobly discharge his rearguard duties to Venice or to Tuscany by tomorrow at the usual 1900 GMT. Assuming the Italian does not retreat OTB, the only adjustments are an English build and a Russian disband. Those order, too, are due tomorrow at 1900 GMT.

France and Russia cross paths... but since topology does not allow me to cross borders, and am going to disallow there attempt to cross paths. The French and Russia orders bounce. Meanwhile, in the South, Austria re-opens the mountain passes - Tyrolia reconnects to Marseilles, and the Swiss lose their Mediterranean beachfront property. And in the North, England shifts the focus by undoing one of last season's seismics - Bothnia and St. Pete's reunite.
