.hmmessage P { margin:0px;padding:0px;} body.hmmessage { font-size:10pt;font-family:Verdana;} Dear Players of Dc197.
As of this email, we (the moderators) and as far as i know you (the players) have not heard from
your GM - Kai , on the matter that happened over the last Spring/fall adjudication.
We're hoping that Kai is just momentarily detained and will be back with a ruling on this decision.
However should you (and us) not hear from Kai by the 3rd of November - then one of the moderators
(most likely me) will step in as a temporary GM and resolve the issue.
I believe Kai set a deadline of the 31st for some retreats, However I would ASSUME that
until the matter of the Austrian and Russian NMR in Fall is resolved - this deadline would be extended by at least
24 hours, depending on how Kai decides to rule.
We understand that some players are anxious to get a ruling on this game, and move it on - but since
I am away this weekend, we feel another few days on the matter is not going to do any harm.
Feel free to address any issues to me at stevelytton(at)hotmail.com (stevelytton(at)hotmail.com)
Thankyou

.hmmessage P { margin:0px;padding:0px;} body.hmmessage { font-size:10pt;font-family:Verdana;} Dear Players of Dc197.
Thankyou
Stephen Lytton

dc207 Mandate s368bc results!! - rodtheworm (Oct 31, 2008, 1:47 am) |
I'm game to continue. Here's my limerick retreats:
A Ba could retreat to Dian
A Han may as well just disband
A Chungshan to Yubeiping
And F Tung Yueh simply sinking
A Wei can cause trouble in Hsi Handan
Sorry to the Yen, I'll admit that retreat was more than a little bit just for the rhyme... <

Let’s get this game out of the closet
And restart it with a deposit
Of any amount
Into my account
Or simply retreats we can posit
Your choice folks, donations or retreats! But you all gotta confirm we’re gonna game on here.
RETREATS:
Neutrals:
A Ba
A Chungshan
A Han
F Tung Yueh
A Wei
The only units dislodged are neutral.
Let’s take Neutral orders by Tues 11/4, 10am Pacific.
ALL 7 MUST at least reply to me, whether or not you wish to order retreats, thereby confirming your interest in the game. I will post the retreats only based on those who actually submit suggestions for the neutral units. Those who choose not to submit will not be assumed to be submitting hold orders, they will be abstaining from any neutral orders. HOWEVER you still must confirm you have not dropped off the face of the planet and at a bare minimum confirm you are in the game! Those who submit orders for neutrals publicly in the form of a limerick will be given double weight.

Administrative notes:
The game page is all updated. See the correct data, at www.diplomaticcorp.com?game_id=dc207
The RP / RW variant on the site was nonfunctional, I updated it, and corrected some problems. Namely, Ch’i and Ch’in were not valid countries as RW confused one w the other. The attached .dpw file will work if you go and REDOWNLOAD the variant from the site, delete your current variant from RW (RP will not work) and install this one. Download from: http://www.diplomaticcorp.com/variants.php.

DC196 Heroes And Villains - Spring 1906 - Coach Fu... - former.trout (Oct 30, 2008, 10:45 pm) |
Mucal invader, is there no end to your oozing?
-----------------------------------
Germany holds the gate to the Baltic locked in Spring 06, even as England returns the favour in the North Sea. Meanwhile, the Russians scramble to recover from the Turkish strike and manage to get some revenge in the south. And in the Med, the waters gather for a three-way struggle as three nations vy for mastery over Mediterranean waves.
Definitely some excitement happening around the board. No retreats either this turn, so we advance straight on into the Fall of 06. Deadline will be set for Wednesday, November 5th (11:59 PM GMT).
Let me know if you spot any errors in the adjudication. Onwards for justice!

email the lone player and ask - but if that player is NOT
ready then I will not rush it.

Okie. Lets all sit around the fire and have a short talk.
Some of you wish to end this game. I absolutely understand that. But despite how crazy it sounds to some, there are those of you who do NOT wish it to end. At least, not at this point.
This is a monster. We all knew it was a monster when we signed up to play. And the fact that its gone on for quite some time has not changed the truth in any way that this game remains a monster. What we have left with is a very good group of players that all have strong wills and personalities... And a board that seems locked to some but that still actually has quite a lot of play in it.
Please do not be discouraged that, if you are one of those wanting the game to end, that it is not - in fact - ending. =P
But okay - enough blabber from me. Fall rolls around and find Holland undergoing a massive withdrawal and reorganization in the south. China continues to get gobbled up and the British in exile suddenly find two thirds of their town halls waving American flags.
The Dutch solo proposal is kicked under the table meeting defeat. In the meanwhile, a new 6-way draw (US/France/Russia/Holland/Japan/China) is proposed. Please have your yay or nay votes on that submitted to me by the Winter 1879 deadline of Saturday, November 1st (11:59 PM GMT).
Strap on those cups, gentlemen. The time-clock hasn't quite run out. =P
Cheers!

Subject: Guns, Germs and Steel 1264 / DC110 - Fall 1879 - Till the Fat Lady Sings...
- TEMPERS FLARE AS WORLD REALIZES ... IT AIN'T OVER!!
- MEAT TENDERIZERS AND ATHLETIC CUPS FLY OFF SHELVES WORLD-WIDE
Cheers!
Trout
