arrrggghhh! my allergies - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
It wasn't bad until you mentioned a lint covered dust mop. My allergies would never let me survive that. So I guess since I am a volunteer EMT/Fireman and on call 24/7 I cannot chance starting a 6 hour stint. I may watch though.

DC104 Invitational - Winter 1907 - The Nurse - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
In a message dated 10/2/2007 1:21:52 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, former.trout(at)gmail.com writes:
"Ach. I am here." A small mountain stepped into the room. The thickly muscled, and even thicker moustached, German was a colossus. Easily seven feet tall, his bulk filled the antechamber. The Kraut shrugged his shoulders and a sound like boulders falling down a hill filled the hall.
"Right then, well that's it for me." The Englishman threw in his towel. "I'm off for a spot of tea. You chaps have fun now. Cheerio."
But the Austrians had been smart enough to send a Jew named David ben Jesse who instantly went for his slingshot.

Ukr -> Pol: Ath is empty and you should be able to take it. Isr can't have many units around it because they are all facing off against me in Turkey. Also, if you could order Kar -> Sib, I will support it. So Isr cannot stop that move and we should be able to break his lines next year.
Ukr -> Isr: You may have broken through one of my lines, but I've got more units on the way. I wish you luck.... you will surely need it!

DC-114 Resumes in Fall 1902 - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
Players,
The vote to restart the game received 3 NO votes and therefore fails. We have a new Italy who has agreed to be a replacement. Let us hope this 4th complication in the game is the last. Fall 1902 orders are due in 4 days (11pm Central Daylight Time 10/7). The countries and their corresponding emails are listed below. Best of luck to everyone. I'm sure Italy would appreciate expedited diplomacy to start as he has only 4 days to get acquainted to the game.

DC116 Vogon's Revenge - Spring 1905 - Familiar Gro... - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
In the North Sea the Mermaids did swim
While the English sailed in with lights dim
The Kraut fleet resisted
But Brit guns still persisted
Till the black fleet sailed way with sails trim.
----------------------------------------------------------
Most fronts stayed static in the Spring of 05, with all countries moving for position. One retreat is required before moving on into the Fall though - as the snappy little intro ditty said, the German fleet in the North Sea was forced to fall back. Summer 1905 deadline will be set for Friday, October 5th (11:59 PM GMT.)
Shout out if you spot any errors. Cheers folks!

DC105 Tears Of Cassandra - Winter 08 - Earth - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
Warriors of the Ancient Med,
Hear me now when I speak of the legions raised and the legions lost in the cold snows of 08. The garrison in Athens is lost to the Greeks while one is formed in Neapolis to fight for Rome. Meanwhile, in Mighty Carthage, a fleet in Thapsus and an army in Cirta step forth to fight for their nation.
In addition, all diplomatic settlements to the carnage have failed. Thus the battle continues - Spring 09 Order deadline will be set for Tuesday, October 9th.
Cheers all,
