Quite an interesting start to the game, with a few players making opening moves I have not seen in a while. Neither Russia nor Turkey sails to the Black Sea, France moves to Gascony, Italy moves to Piedmont, and Russia orders an army to St. Petersburg.
There are no retreats, of course, so the fall 1901 will be next Thursday 12/20 at 3pm Central (US). With the holidays approaching, please let me know right away if this poses a problem for anyone. Thanks!

Austria becomes the odd-man out as the Italians bludgeon their way into Serbia in repayment for all the Austrian support. The Scandinavias become a tangled dance-floor as England and Russia prepare to tango all over each other. And in the far south, Tunis is witness to yet another titanic struggle between east and west.

No, the only gain was Russia's at the expense of
Turkey, but don't let that minor detail make you think
less of Mike Sims. If you see yourself as the World's
Greatest Diplomacy Player, then it is totally
understandable that, just as you think every move you
make is bound to succeed, you think an adolescent
take-off on a song is a particularly clever way to rub
salt on a game wound.
That the only bloodletting this turn occurred in
Berlin is only a minor irritant to Mike Sims. We mere
mortals are in the presence of gaming greatness, of
historical inevitability, of... adolescent arrogance.
Hope your game is better than your writing, Mike. But
it sure doesn't look like it.

Turkey spins a tune that seems hauntingly familiar

Thanks to Ari for catching this one. I misprogrammed England's orders into RP and tried sending the Edinburgh fleet to Norwegian Sea rather than the North Sea. Please find attached a corrected map showing the accurate location of the North Sea fleet.
