I would like to propose a DIAS for this game.

I am tired of the constant stream of replacement players.

-------------------------------------------------

Another bloodbath in the Fall of 1866. If you are Britain or the Confederates, ask not for whom the bell tolls - it tolls for thee. Many automatic disbands as a result of the Fall orders, and some retreats as well. Britain owes three retreats, Confederates owe one, and Japan and Brazil both owe one as well. Deadline for Early Winter 1866 retreats will be set for Friday, December 7th (11:59 PM GMT) please.

Which brings us to some fun points:

1. I think we can squeeze one more turn in before Christmas. Ideally, however, I would like to play through - with a few days off for the holiday itself. I need to know if this is all right with everyone though - or if some of us are either going on trips or know that they won't be checking their email regularlay the last couple weeks of December. Please let me know how I can best fit the deadlines to your schedule.

2. Sadly, I have to announce that we are losing another of our original players. Russian Rob has plans and will be away and out of touch for three or four weeks. Rather than delay the game, he has chosen to step down gracefully and allow a replacement to come on. As of Early Winter 1866, we will have a NEW Russian Rob - Rob Ackerley. His email address is rob_ackerley(at)yahoo.ca (rob_ackerley(at)yahoo.ca)

I'd like to gratefully welcome New Rob to the game, and wish Original Rob best of luck on his near travels. Thanks for bringing your best to the game - to both of you. =)

That's all I have for now though. Please just correct me if you spot any of my common errors. Cheers!

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
