Congrats to all three for a well deerved draw. I have to hang my head down for letting myself get bushwhacked mid-game, bu tit is what it is.
Here is my EOG!
Beign in the center in this game is a bear! Even with a fast start, with easy grabs and weak Gaul I found myself surrounded. My apporach was to get two solid allies, out fo the following three Carthage Persia and Macedonia. I thought iI actually managed three and planned on pushing north into Germania. Unfortuantely Macedonia caught me in too trusting a position and it was difficult to ever regain my balance after that. Simple as that. The proxy ought to be limitied, maybe three turns max then you replace if they dont send a positive acknolwedgement they are rejoining.
Congrats again guys

Subject: dc339 draw!
Well folks it looks like we have ourselves an MPC 3-way draw!
Congrats to all... Comments? Thoughts?
This game got off to a great start, then admitted I ran into some hurdles around half-way thru... An unfortunately eventful end to 2010 made it tough to keep up w the game there for a while. Eventually we got it on a roll again, and then it was pretty easy after that point. This is the second time I've seen a proxy used in a game. Thougths on that? It's really designed to be more for one or two turns, not to have the perpetual standing orders like we saw. I may revise my house rules on the matter, perhaps to limit the proxy to only the current turn.
Any ideas on what to run next? Anyone want to run something? We can always use GM's...
Until next time!
