Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

Folks,
I've had a few offers to take on the Austrian position. The first taker never got back to me, so I've just written to the second to ask if he's still interested. I hope to have an answer in the next 24 hours or so. I'll let you all know.
