DIPYCORP PRESS RELEASES
Regime Change in United Kingdom: Salisbury ousted by Balfour's
promise of "CHANGE WE CAN BE SMUG ABOUT." Russians see omens of
regime collapse within their own borders. Italians sign peace
treaty with Ethiopia but surprise supposed ally! Swiss pair wins
Nobel Peace Prize - which seems kinda unfair, honestly.
The Prime Minister writes:
Chancellor, it is my desire that you and I cooperate in the
movements of the future. My intention to land in Belgium was to
prevent the French from annexing it into their republic, but instead
kept you out. I will leave it to you this Spring. Similarly, I
trust that you will not prevent our taking Sweden.
Salisbury
The King of France looks forward to an un-even split of post
German Europe with her friends from England. French ownership of
Bel, Mun and Ber would be agreeable while France would help England
in taking Kie, Den, the Nordics and northern Russia. I believe a
little cooperation in Bel would set the cornerstone in redrawing the
map. English Naval support of a Pic Army into Bel would set this
plan moving irresistibly forward. Moving to the English Channel
would certainly chill our relationship, whereas a move which the new
London fleet replaces the unit in the North Sea when it moves east
would also point to a positive relationship. Germany is currently
in a awkward position, but together we could make it untenable.
I look forward to working with you soon.
The King of France extends the hand of friendship to Italy. I
will move my Mar Army to Pie in order to hit Germany from
underneath. Allowing my army to travel through your northern
frontier will solidify our friendly relationship. I look forward to
a future where there are no units tied up along our common frontier,
and thus they are freed to move somewhere more profitable.
Berlin.
To Il Duce,
Your words of support are most welcome to our suffering people.
Daily we await your support in driving the invidious French from the
once proud city of MUNICH.
Let the Italian people know that their support in Germany's hour of
need will never be forgotten, and when the time comes, Germany will
stand shoulder to shoulder with its fine Italian friends against ANY
outside aggressor.
The Kaiser Berlin
To our old and longest friends, the rulers of Britannia, from our
long ties through the House of Hannover and the House of Windsor,
Germany extends the hand of friendship!
We will support your efforts in the North where you strive to free
the peaceloving Russian peoples from the dead hand of the
Bolsheviks, and once we have removed the poisonous french dart from
Munich, we will look to support you in taking the fight to France.
BRE, POR and SPA for England, PAR and MAR for Germany.
If England can agree to this we will welcome its troops to BEL when
we can carry the fight directly into the French homeland!
Let us forge an unbreakable alliance that will stand the test of
time and carry all of Europe before it!
We await word from the Great British Prime Minister!
The Kaiser
Austria to Turkey: As long as Russia remains in my territories, you
have my full support!
Austria to Italy: We can get along, or we can stalemate. I mean
you no harm. I will probably move to Tyl to secure myself against
the French, but Ven is safe from me.
BANANAS! Turkish forces capture Crimean Peninsula. Britain weeps in
envy. The Archduke of Austria plans to claim Rumania for himself in
his bid to annex the Tsar¢s Empire. No one wants control of the
Mediterranean. All nations fear the Berbery pirates!

My dear friend,
I apologize for not being in position to support your army this
Spring. I wrote the wrong territory in my order to my army in
Vienna. It cost me an open port! If my error makes you withdraw
from Munich, fall back to Silesia. That way I will be able to
support your re-conquest from Bohemia or an onward movement into
Warsaw from Galicia.
Yours Sincerely,
Archduke Ferdinand
