I asked - if a French unit is dislodged it is disbanded.
The email the GM sent said it was a permanent CD.

Two questions about the French being in CD?
1. Will the former French player (or a new person who volunteers to play) be allowed to come in at any time in the future? Or is this a permanent CD for the rest of the game?
2. If a French unit is dislodged, will it have the opportunity to retreat? Or will all retreats be OTB while France is in CD?
thanks,
-kevin

Sorry for the delay. It shouldn't happen too often. Perhaps the curse of the delays of this game is now affecting me
