ENGINEERED PRESS RELEASES
-------------------------
From: The Czar of Russia
That's it, I'm done. You want my supply centers, you greedy,
violent savages? Then take them. I can no longer do
anything to stop you. March onto  the streets of my once
proud cities- and sieze them-Take them from a man who used
his forces only to attempt to develop peace in this land.
Take them from a man who tried as hard as he could to
broker out a peaceful resolution to this conflict, but did
you listen? NO! Well, I'll tell you what. The Russian
Armies will go down fighting. We will stand strong, we will
be brave, and you will have to pry our centers from our
Cold, dead hands, and in 60 years, when people look back on
this war, and the atrocities you made against the Russian
people, people will look back on me with pride, but you
with scorn. Ladies and Gentlemen, may god have mercy on
    your souls.

    Dear Uncle Bertie,
    Progress!

As discussed no northern fleets for me.  Would be pleased to
hold onto/recover BEL while my armies assist you into BRE.

    After that, awaiting strategic directions,
    Your loyal nephew,
    Willie.

IRISH INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENT CLOUDS VIEW OF CONTINENT
    By Gregory Mankins

LONDON – LOYALISTS claims to the contrary aside, Ireland is
closer than ever to secession from the United Kingdom.
Conscriptions for the Scandinavian campaign have emptied the
fields.  From the public houses to the football pitches, “Irish
Republic” propaganda and Rebel songs are everywhere.

Though the northern counties of Ulster have a softer stance on
the issue of Ireland’s continued union with Great Britain,
Belfast was awash with potentially violent gangs of hooligans
for days in preparation for the match.  England’s convincing 3
to 1 victory this Saturday has done little to ameliorate the
angst felt by the Irish across the island.  Much has been made
of the fact that though the officials were Welsh, they were
Protestant.

Thursday’s St. Patrick’s day masses promise to provide at least
a brief respite from angry mobs assembling outside Dublin
Castle.  However, these same masses are feared to also provide
informal recruiting grounds to the rebel cause.

Will troubles in Ireland prove to distract His Majesty from
Continental influence?  Some experts believe they already have.

FRENCH FORCES SEAL THE DEMISE OF THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE.
TSARIST MISMANAGEMENT OF THE CRIMEAN DEFENSE COMBINED WITH
AUSTRIAN COMPLIANCE TO THE WISHES OF THE SULTAN HAS
PRODUCED OTTOMAN HEGEMONY IN SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE.

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
