PREV Winter 1900 Adjudication: NEXT

We have three nations left to name. Two players have come forth with their own names. I cannot find a name for the other, so I have created my own (with attempted respectfulness).

Mike Hoffman:
So, country "FourGotten" founded based on receiving my 4th pick in Round 1. Our motto in war is "We shall never be ..." Our national flower is a Forget-me-Not, and our national symbol is the 4-leaf clover, laid down over a 4-of-a-kind of 4s.

Philip King:
Good day, fellow Europeans, from the beautiful Paz Eterna. Our core belief is that only when peace is eternal can anyone be truly happy. Hence, we're a pretty grumpy bunch. Sadly, we know and understand with great clarity of mind, the simple yet tragic truth:
There is no peace. Only Zuul.

Mike Sims:
I cannot find a name for you, Mike. You can change it if you like, but for you I have chosed: Lotfizadeh, named after the founding thinker of fuzzy logic. Your people are the Zadonians. Probably.

I am attaching three documents with this email. First, there is a .gif of the builds. Second, there is a .dpy (the RealPolitik file I use in adjudication). Third, there is a zipped folder called AnarchyOne. You cannot use the .dpy without this folder. If you've never added a variant to RealPolitik before, it's fairly simple. Find the 'Variant Files' folder in your RealPolitik folder. Unzip AnarchyOne and save it to the Variant Files folder. The next time you open RealPolitik, it should automatically notice the new AnarchyOne variant (and AnarchyOne should appear as a variant under the Variants menu).

The opening builds are about what you'd expect -- navies on provinces adjacent to multiple seas, armies just about everywhere else. However, there is a strange lack of fleets in the North Sea area. Partly, that's because Denmark, Edinburgh, and London are as yet unclaimed. Partly, that's because there are armies in Belgium and Norway (and Kiel and Sweden). Still, I will not fret. I am confident that there will be time to build fleets later.
